Made with thick Greek yogurt (or classic sour cream), a touch of mayo, and a fragrant blend of dill, parsley, garlic, and onion, it’s a fresh and flavorful dip that pairs beautifully with crisp garden vegetables or warm seasoned flatbread. Light, healthy, and ready in minutes, this dip is a staple for gatherings, cookouts, or anytime you want something refreshing straight from the garden.

Creamy dill dip served with fresh vegetables.

Instructions

  1. Combine base ingredients Add 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream), 1/4 cup mayo with olive oil, 1/8 teaspoon salt, a pinch of ground black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon dried dill to a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Mix until smooth Stir the mixture thoroughly until the yogurt, mayo, and all seasonings — including the 1/2 teaspoon dried dill — are fully blended into a smooth, creamy dip.
  3. Chill Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dill dip for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors from the parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried dill to meld.
  4. Serve Stir the dip once more before serving, then enjoy with fresh vegetables, seasoned flatbread, or crackers.

Notes

  • Great with cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers, and warm flatbread.
  • For extra brightness, add a squeeze of lemon.
  • Fresh dill makes the dip even more aromatic.
