Made with thick Greek yogurt (or classic sour cream), a touch of mayo, and a fragrant blend of dill, parsley, garlic, and onion, it’s a fresh and flavorful dip that pairs beautifully with crisp garden vegetables or warm seasoned flatbread. Light, healthy, and ready in minutes, this dip is a staple for gatherings, cookouts, or anytime you want something refreshing straight from the garden.
Ingredients
Dill Dip Base
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
- 1/4 cup mayo with olive oil
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Pinch ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/1/2 teaspoon dried dill (or 1–2 tablespoons fresh dill)
Instructions
-
Combine base ingredients
Add 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream), 1/4 cup mayo with olive oil, 1/8 teaspoon salt, a pinch of ground black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon dried dill to a medium mixing bowl.
-
Mix until smooth
Stir the mixture thoroughly until the yogurt, mayo, and all seasonings — including the 1/2 teaspoon dried dill — are fully blended into a smooth, creamy dip.
-
Chill
Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dill dip for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors from the parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried dill to meld.
-
Serve
Stir the dip once more before serving, then enjoy with fresh vegetables, seasoned flatbread, or crackers.
Notes
- Great with cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers, and warm flatbread.
- For extra brightness, add a squeeze of lemon.
- Fresh dill makes the dip even more aromatic.
