Air Fryer Pork Chops

These RizzieFarms Air Fryer Pork Chops are thick-cut, juicy, and packed with flavor thanks to a smoky-sweet spice rub. Bone-in center-cut chops are brushed with olive oil, coated generously in a blend of brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, mustard, garlic, and onion, then cooked hot and fast in the air fryer until tender inside with a lightly crisp exterior. It’s an easy, weeknight-friendly main dish that feels special enough for company—especially served with potatoes, rice, or a fresh garden salad.

Air Fryer Pork Chops

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer Preheat the air fryer to 400°F according to the manufacturer’s directions so it is fully hot before adding the **2 bone-in pork chops**.
  2. Dry and oil the pork chops Rinse **2 bone-in center-cut pork chops** under cool water if desired, then pat them completely dry with paper towels. Rub the chops all over with **2 tablespoons olive oil** so the seasoning will adhere well.
  3. Mix the spice rub In a small bowl stir together **1 teaspoon light brown sugar**, **1 teaspoon chili powder**, **1 teaspoon sweet paprika**, **1/2 teaspoon ground mustard**, **1/2 teaspoon salt**, **1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper**, **1/4 teaspoon garlic powder**, and **1/4 teaspoon onion powder** until evenly combined.
  4. Season the pork chops Sprinkle the spice rub generously over both sides of the oiled pork chops. Use your hands to press the rub into the surface so it coats each chop thoroughly, using almost all of the seasoning mixture on the **2 seasoned pork chops**.
  5. Air fry the pork chops Arrange the **2 seasoned pork chops** in a single layer in the preheated air fryer basket, leaving a little space between them for air circulation. Air fry at **400°F for 12 minutes**, flipping the chops after **6 minutes**, until the outside is browned and the internal temperature reaches at least 145°F.
  6. Rest and serve Transfer the cooked pork chops to a plate and let them rest for 3–5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute. Serve the air fryer pork chops hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For extra-juicy chops, choose thick-cut bone-in pork chops that are about 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick.
  • You can substitute avocado oil for olive oil if you prefer a higher smoke-point oil.
  • If your air fryer runs hot or the chops are thinner, start checking for doneness at 10 minutes.
  • Letting the pork chops rest before slicing keeps them moist and tender.
