Classic Meatloaf
This classic, old-fashioned meatloaf combines lean ground beef and pork with Ritz cracker crumbs, milk, eggs, aromatics, and bold seasonings for a tender, sliceable loaf that’s deeply comforting and full of flavor. A rich ketchup topping caramelizes as it bakes, creating that nostalgic, homestyle finish — the kind of hearty dinner that feels right at home at RizzieFarms.

Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350°F.
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine **1 pound ground beef**, **1 pound ground pork**, **1/2 cup milk**, **2 eggs**, **1 cup crushed Ritz crackers**, **1/4 teaspoon sage**, **1/2 teaspoon salt**, **1 teaspoon prepared mustard**, **1/2 teaspoon black pepper**, **1 chopped garlic clove**, **1/4 cup chopped onion**, **1 chopped celery stalk**, **1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce**, **1 tablespoon steak sauce**, and **1 tablespoon ketchup**. -

-
Spread **1/2 cup ketchup** evenly over the top of the loaf.
-
Bake uncovered for **1 hour 30 minutes**, or until the internal temperature reaches **160°F**.
-
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Ritz crackers add a buttery flavor and keep the meatloaf tender.
- Resting the loaf makes for cleaner slices.
- Great the next day reheated — or sliced for cold sandwiches.
