Guacamole

Servings: 3 cups

Description: Guacamole can be used as a topping for tostadas and other Mexican dishes as well as for a dip.

Ingredients:

• 2 medium avocados, peeled and seeded
• 2 medium tomatoes, peeled and coarsely chopped
• 1/4 C chopped onion
• 2 T lemon juice
• 1/4 C canned diced green chiles
• Salt, pepper
• Crackers and chips

Instructions:

1. Mash avocados with fork.
2. Add tomatoes, onion and lemon juice and blend well.
3. Add green chiles and season to taste with salt and pepper.
4. Serve at once with crackers and chips.
