Quick Summary

A high-pressure house game: the first ball made assigns your set (solids or stripes), then you must run your balls in strict order and finish by calling the 8-ball into your last pocket. No slop, no cheating off the 8.

Ball Order

You must always play your “next” ball. Wrong ball / wrong pocket = turn ends.

Solids: 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → 6 → 7 → 8 Stripes: 15 → 14 → 13 → 12 → 11 → 10 → 9 → 8
No plays off the 8-ball. You cannot use the 8 as a combo, carom, kiss, bank-helper, or “cheat object.” The 8 is only for the final shot (except 8 on break).

How We Rack (RizzieFarms)

We rack using the triangle as shown. This is the house reference image for setup.

  • Tight rack, apex ball on the foot spot.
  • 8-ball stays in the rack (standard triangle).
  • All balls racked firmly—no gaps.
  • Break must be a real break (no soft roll).

Official Rules (RizzieFarms House Version)

  1. Break: Standard break. If the 8-ball is pocketed on the break, the breaker wins.
  2. Group assignment: The first legally pocketed ball determines your set: solids (1–7) or stripes (15–9).
  3. Strict order: You must pocket your balls in order: solids 1→7 or stripes 15→9. You must contact your correct next ball first.
  4. Call every shot: Call the ball and the pocket every time. (Clean, bank, or combo is fine—just call it.)
  5. No slop: Uncalled balls do not count and your turn ends.
  6. No plays off 8: You may not use the 8-ball in any way until the final shot (except 8 on the break = win).
  7. 8-ball finish: After completing your set, you must pocket the 8-ball into your designated last pocket and you must call it.
  8. Early 8: Pocketing the 8-ball early (not on the break) is a loss.
  9. Scratch on 8: Pocketing the 8-ball and scratching is a loss.
  10. Fukushima: The player that loses must declare FUKUSHIMA!.

Optional House Tweaks (if you ever want them)

  • Fouls: Decide “ball-in-hand anywhere” vs “behind the line” after a scratch.
  • Safety calls: Allow “safety” (no pocket attempt) if declared before the shot.
  • 8-ball pocket selection: Choose last pocket at the start, or last pocket is where your final numbered ball drops.
